Effects

Grants Brimstone for the current room.
If used twice in the same room (i.e. through the use of batteries), grants Brimstone permanently.

This item originated from the Binding of Isaac: Community Remix mod.
Brimstone is an archaic name for Sulfur.
When this item was ported into Repentance, the effect to gain permanent Brimstone was fixed. However, as a possible nod to it, using it twice or gaining two Brimstones in any other way will grant a larger laser with higher damage and a unique costume.

Bugs

Bug! If Sulfur is used while Isaac is shooting with Technology 2, the laser shot by Technology 2 will be locked in the current direction regardless of what buttons are pressed. Leaving the current room can fix this problem.

Bug! Using Sulfur twice in a room grants its effects permanently. The effects remain even after Isaac gets rid of Sulfur.
