Mucormycosis is a passive item.
Effects
- Upon killing an enemy, it releases a cloud of gas that damages and poisons other enemies.
- Enemies that die to the poison will also release the poison.
- The poison cloud does not hurt Isaac, but it does push him away.

- Mucormycosis is a contagious fungal infection of the blood vessels.
- This item is very similar to Contagion added in Afterbirth+.
- Contagion's farts appear red, and only the first enemy killed in a room will spawn a fart.
